Well tonight is bitter sweet, the end of Spring Break. That means that tomorrow bright and early the alarm clock will go off, kids will be rushing around to get breakfast, dressed, throw a fit about what I packed for lunch and not being able to find their backpacks (which are always by the back door), but I wouldn't trade the hectic mornings for anything.
We have had a great break, didn't do anything really big--lots of small things...they say good things come in small packages, I am agree with them!! Thank you Lord, for this awesome weather that we had over break and are having--makes me smile being able to enjoy being outside and not cooped up in the house..I better knock on wood quick before it all ends!
Monday we went to Indiana and watched Keegan's Tee Ball game then the kids stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Fisher's over night and went to Chuck E Cheese and "How to train a Dragon" in 3D with Keegan, Aunt Erin and Grandma!! They had a blast and enjoyed getting to spend some special time with them as well...THANKS MOM AND ERIN!
Tuesday--lazy day, we worked in the yard some, played sidewalk chalk and bubbles
Wednesday--Team Kids and I even went early and stayed late to let the kids play on the playground!
Thursday- Hunter spent the night at Ma/Pa so that he wouldn't have to go to the PIDD appointment with us. Hayley and I dropped him off and then we to lunch, she picked Taco Bell, came home and enjoyed some "girl time" we hit the bed early and it was nice!!
Friday-Had our PIDD appointment (see previous post) came home and started laundry. Kids stayed at Pop and Nana's so that Brian and I could start finishing up the barn and he can hang the rafters on Wednesday when the deliver them!
Saturday- Played and worked outside in the yard and barn all day long. It was such perfect weather not to be. Had dinner at Tumbleweed and enjoyed laughing and spending time together before school starts back on Monday.
Sunday--Kids sang at church and did wonderfully! My camera is dead so I am hoping to be able to "steal" some pictures from some friends this week. Came home and worked on the garden...we are ready to plant now!! Belinda, Jamey and Caitlin came down to pick up chicken eggs for her class incubator--can't wait to see them hatch off!!
Now its back to reality....
