Baby Shower

I love the fact that the Spitzngael side of the family is constantly growing, this year alone we are welcoming two new babies (Kelly and Stefanie) that we know of and a wedding (Erin and Brian)!! Who knows by the next family gathering someone could be sharing more exciting news. Hayley and I headed to Aunt Debby's to join all the "hens" and "chicks" for Kelly's baby shower.

Hayley thought that cake was too cute
As always there was lots of yummy food and a chance to catch up with everyone. Hayley was super excited to be able to play with the girl cousins. Bree we missed you!

You never know at a shower what kind of crazy story will be read for the traditional "right/left" game. The fact that its written with love by the hens and chicks makes it even more interesting and special. You are guaranteed for a good laugh and cry all within a few minutes of each other.
The famous "right/left" story

I love the fact that I get to share some special girl time with Hayley and cherish all the memories of the showers and teas. It's truly a blessing to be part of this and pray that the traditions will continue on for many, many more years as our children get older.

All the little girls got a special present from the Hen's...can we say that they love to spoil all the great grand kids any chance they get?!

Another one of the special traditions is that Uncle Bradley makes a wagon, aka Coleman Cruiser, for the first child of each family.

She is the one who is responsible for starting all this craziness

Kelly and Seth we are so excited about the arrival of Baby Miller. Cherish last few weeks, every little contraction, kick, heart burn, sleepless night, full bladder-its so worth it when you finally get to hold your little miracle in your arms. Love you.
