We have been playing catch up today with our farm chores. It's amazing how quickly things get behind when you are out of commission for a couple of days. Luckily, we all pitched in and got this done quickly and had some good quality time filled with lots of laughter too!
Our crazy "barn cat" kept us laughing all day long, she thinks that she is part cow. Whenever we go out to feed she is always in the feed trough hanging out waiting to be the first one to eat. One would think that she would be scared of the cows, but that is not the case at all!! They love to play with her, give her kisses and chew on her tail!!
It's hard to see the cat because she is small and black, but I promise she is in there if you look real hard

Hunter loves to feed the cows and has each and everyone one of them named!!
After we fed, it was on to more serious business....taking care of flies!! The kids enjoyed hanging out (literally) while Brian and I were getting all our supplies ready....

Each cow got ear tags complete with fly spray on them!
It was a hard and HOT job but we are so glad we got that crossed off our chore list
