Valentine's Day at school

Today was a crazy, fun day filled with lots of crafts, candy, food, games and Valentines! What a better way to end a short week due to snow? I was able to spend time in both Hunter and Hayley's classroom today, and let me tell you....they know how to have fun and par-tay!!! It's a good thing that holidays are few and far between because I am one worn out Momma--if only I had half the energy that these kids have!!

Each student had their Valentines laid out on their table and as a name was called they held them up so that the named student could walk around and collect theirs.

Hunter's class decorated these cute hats (thanks Krispy Kreme) and wore them. I am always amazed to see how creative each child is when they get to do something like this! Ms. Sienicki always has lots of fun games planned, today at Musical Chairs and Valentine's BINGO---the kids had a blast as I and Ms. Sienicki!

It's tradition that in Ms. Sweazy and Mrs. Foreberger's room that on holidays they always do pizza and decorate sugar cookie, that are so yummy, with sprinkles--I told ya that they know how to par-tay! The kids always seem to enjoy decorating and for the most part do a good job.

Mrs. Foreberger would be the best lunch lady ever!

Student Council was selling carnations for $1.00 to help the Haitian's--the kids each bought their teachers. We have been blessed with great teachers this year who are always going above and beyond for both Hunter and Hayley. It's been a great year and they both have already learned so much and continued to be challenged and pushed to the next level.
Thank you so much--you are much appreciated!
Oh I almost forgot Hunter bought his 'girlfriend' Andrea a flower as well!
