We have been busy since schools out and have finally found time to get some more work done on the (never ending) barn. Brian has been wanting to add yet another addition (this will be the 3rd one) so we had Cartinhour come and drill some holes. This was an all day job because of the MASSIVE amount of creek rock we have. There is no telling how many tons we have removed when we were dozing for the house.
I had to laugh because I looked up and saw this...
I mean, how many men does it take to dig a hole? Well the answer is 4 and one heck of a drill bit on a tractor that you can't see. Hayley and I made fun of the boys the rest of the day when they complained about the hard work they did.
The next day we set 9 more telephone poles, this is getting easier and easier each time because we now have a system down and it works smoothly. Basically, we don't talk to each other and we are fine!! Gotta, love home projects
This will be more hay storage in the back and trailer storage for the goose neck, cattle trailer, bread trailer and the pull behind in the front.
We also framed up the front half so we could hang metal now that all of our inspections are complete. I tease Brian that this is his house--it has a kitchen, bathroom and a nice place for his BIG TV--my house may actually stay clean now!!
I can't get him to clean or even help with cleaning windows at the house but he was all about cleaning windows on his barn. Crazy man!!
