of the wonder drug, Linezolid. Let me tell you, I wish that we would of had this about 5 years sooner, but are so thankful that we finally found a drug that worked for her, even if we did have to take 2tsp twice a day for 5 weeks. Every melt down and fight about not wanting to take it and the nasty taste paid off because we are finally healthy!!! I am knocking on wood as I type.
I had to laugh because Hayley started counting down days a week into it. Poor thing was ready for all this to be over with, as we all were. She told me to get the camera and blog about her last dose.
I will have to say that I will miss her brown/black tongue--one of the many side effects of the medicine
Thank God we finally have a healthy girl!!
