The Friday before State Testing begins, school host a Testing Olympic Opening Ceremony. Each class votes on a team name and outfit and then marches in, lights the torch and those 3-5 graders who tested last year are recognized for the Proficient and Distinguished test scores!! It's wild, crazy and loud as each person is cheered for and helps to get the kids excited about testing, if that's possible!
Hunter received 2 Distinguished for Math and Reading as a 3rd grader!

Hunter's 4th grade class chose to be Wallace's Warrior's. Very cute and simple outfits complete with head dresses!
I am BEYOND proud of Hunter and how well he does testing, its a L--O--N--G week for all of us!! He still is learning how to handle his test anxiety and eats Tums and Pepto like crazy. I have no idea why he gets so worked up because he does AWESOME on them!! Still wonder where he gets his smarts from.
