Faith turns 1

We celebrated Faith's 1st birthday while they were in town this past week. She is quite the mover and shaker, constantly on the go! I don't see how Angela keeps up with her and Lukie--they wear me out just watching them. It was lots of fun being able to celebrate your birthday Ms. Faith (even if was a couple of weeks early)! Enjoy your special day!!

Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday dear Faith,
Happy Birthday to you!

Gingerbread Houses

It was time for the annual Gingerbread House Weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Fisher. We dropped the kids off Thanksgiving night so that they could spend some quality time and do all their yearly holiday traditions; Gingerbread Houses, Angel Tree, and Ornament Shopping. I sent the camera with instructions to take pictures and this is what I received. You redeemed yourselves!!!

Angel Tree

Momma and Daddy took this kids this weekend to pick out an angel from the Angel Tree. They really seemed to enjoy themselves and are still talking about the child they chose 3 days later. We are very blessed that they understand the importance of helping the less fortunate and have decided next year to take some of their Christmas money and donate it to a family in need. Talking about melting a momma's heart.
Each child was bought clothes and a few toys.

Hunter chose a 8 year old named Justin, who wore a size 18. He just couldn't wrap his mind around a child being that big!

Keegan chose a 5 year old named Alex
Hayley chose a 6 year old named Haylie--shocker there!

Santa Visit

We made a quick trip Bass Pro on Thanksgiving night and you will never guess who was there....Santa!! The kiddos spotted him from miles away, guess they think they have been good or something?! Hunter asked for an Ipod Touch (he thinks he's been really good this year) and Hayley is asking for a Guitar and Crayola Crayon Maker.

Love this picture---serious converstaion with Santa going on!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Lunch with Luke

We met up with Unc and Luke this week at none other then Mickey D's for lunch. Luke and the kids were so excited to see each other and played for a good while. We missed Faith, she was at home napping. If this was a preview of what Thanksgiving was going to be like, it would be filled with lots of laughter, chasing and hugs. So glad we got in time with you Luke!

Christmas with Granny

Granny was in town for Thanksgiving so we went ahead and did Christmas this week as well. The kids really enjoyed all the goodies they got. Hunter got  Baybaldes (too many too list, stadium and DS game), Wipeout for Wii. Hayley got Video Barbie, Cooking Momma 2 DS game, and Just Dance 2 for Kids Wii game. I am such a bad Momma, forgot to take pictures until after Granny left and then Hunter didn't want to get his taken--he is such a boy!!

Thanksgiving

We started off our Thanksgiving at Ma & Pa's for our traditional Thanksgiving Country Breakfast/Brunch. It was so delicious..we are taking: biscuits and gravy, fruit with dip, sausage, bacon, country ham, homemade cinnamon rolls, breakfast casserole, hash browns, and eggs.

Hunter was helping with the eggs

Brian and Eric helped wash dishes...this is a first, so I HAD to document it.

Luke LOVED to wrestle with Hayley

(Faith was napping)
Next stop, Spitznagels. They had already ate, so we joined then for some yummy desserts. The kids really enjoyed wreaking havoc with all the other cousins. I think the only time it was quiet was when we popped in Polar Express.

What would be a holiday without some loving on my favorite nephew, Keegan!
All of us chicks and Hens were gathered around the tables discussing the ads and our lists.  Not like the years before where you had to fight for the ads. Guess its all different, this year we were on line with the lap tops, iPhone, iPads, etc-it was still fun. My how times change

Hunter's first Kill

Hunter made his first kill tonight, a doe, and he shot it with at 410!!!
He is starting to become quite the hunter--look out!

Crazy Cousins

Saturday, we headed over to Uncle Steve's to help Grandma Farnsely celebrate her 72nd birthday!!! It was complete and total chaos--kids wrestling, running all over the house and being spoiled by everyone! One of the many benefits of being the great-grand kids!!  Granny (Brian's mom) and the Donati's (Aunt Brenda, Broc and Caroline) were in town, hints all the craziness!!! We get so excited when the Donati's come in town because we only get to see them once a year!! Our kiddos are only month apart and LOVE to play with each other---its so much fun to watch.

Coupon Casey

I have a confessions to make..... I am SO JEALOUS of her binder......its full coupons!!!
This past weekend I went to Jen's house for a "Coupon Party with Coupon Casey." You will not even begin to understand or grasp how awesome "Coupon Casey" is until you meet and  hear her story in person--she is such an inspiration and blessing to be around. Call me a nerd, geek, freak, frugal, psycho, whatever you want, but all those who know me, know how much I LOVE MY COUPONS (and ads) when I am grocery shopping. It's like I love to find those deals and see how much I can save. Yes, I am that person who takes all her ads from the Sunday paper and holds up the line at Wal-Mart for 30 minutes just to save $2--hey, you gotta do what you gotta do these days!
I learned so much and all the little tricks of the trade, lingo,  hot spots, websites, rules---you name it she covered it and I am so excited to go out and shop!! You just wait, I have already ordered my binder and you are going to be jealous when it comes. I'm like a little kid waiting for it to arrive, all giddy and excited! Don't worry I am going to pack that baby around so proud and welcome all the stares and looks that I know it's going to create and start saving even more money.
I am planning on having a party in the mere future with "Coupon Casey" but first we need to get thru the holidays. Let me know if you are interested---its well worth your time!

Take mine

Hayley wanted me to take her picture because, well, she is just Hayley. Being the good mother I am, I did just that. Poor thing is starting to look more like her Daddy each day (acting like him too!)
Clayton has been going thru a spell where he HATES to have his picture taken. Must be because he is around Hunter too much. I am always trying to take his picture with Leah and he will not have it. Last night, after seeing Hayley getting her picture taken, he wanted one with me!!!

It was so precious...the whole time he was saying "Jessie's boy" He is one rotten boy!!
