Happy Birthday Brian

Today is Brian's 29th birthday and the kids wanted to do something super special from him. Usually we get all the Wethington's together for lunch/dinner and cake, but since Brian has been on mandatory 16 hour days, and sick, it was not going to happen. But the kids his birthday all planned out anyways--and needed little help from me!
First we made a cake:

cracking eggs

pouring in the mix

mixing with love

I think this is the only reason they wanted to make a cake

crazy kids

Then we made decorations:
Hunter wanted to make signs and put them in his truck and down the road. It was going to be a "go" before it started raining ice and we were afraid Brian wouldn't be able to see them. Instead the kids had fun putting them up around the house in some of his favorite places.

artist at work!!

Hayley and her sign

Look at that hair!

Hunter put his sign in Brian's truck that way he would be to have one last surprise as he left for work tonight.

we hung balloons from the kitchen ceiling fan

Hayley put her sign on his chair

icing the cake..
Brian is very particular and boring when it comes to his cakes...White with White icing--

We did get to add some color to the boring cake....Brian is a BIG UK fan!!
GO CATS

Onto his birthday Supper

Hunter was in charge of the green beans
