Paradise- Day 1

It was time for our annual Paradise trip and we were super excited to spend yet another wild and crazy week with the Spitznagel side. 1 house, 4 generations, 1 week, 8 Hens, 9 Chicks, 15 great grand kids, (that's only half of us!) food, sun, beverages, boating and endless memories! PARADISE 2011OUTTER SPACE  begins and its going to be OUTTA THIS WORLD

Hunter and Hayley decorated their cups for the week

Crafts were an ever popular event as always

We hit the water as soon as possible for some swimming and tubing.

Tonight was pizza/salad night and the kids were so quiet while eating!
There is always someone to play with and the imagination flows. Its so much fun to sit back, watch and listen to them, we always end up in tears from laughing so hard.

After dinner we had an Obstacle Course game. This is always so much fun to see everyone get involved regardless of age, we had babies all the way up to GG and Gramps playing!

This was the first year that we tried having an all boy room and an all girl room. Usually we have one or two families sharing a room but now that the kids are getting older its more fun to let them enjoy the sleeping arrangements too! It worked out well for the most part, the boys (8 of them) had to be reminded or threatened several times during the first part of the week to go to bed but other then that, it was good. The girls on the other hand went to bed perfectly--maybe because they are girls or maybe because there was on 4 of them.
It worked out very well,
Bree braided the girls hair before bed
