Hotel fun

We stayed at the nicest hotel in Indy, Staybridge Suites and couldn't get over how nice they were. A huge room complete with a full kitchen (dishwasher too--this blew Hayley's mind!) and beautiful views of downtown Indianapolis. I had never heard of this hotel and was kinda leary of it when booking it but it was nice on the Internet and new, so I was hoping it was 50% correct.

This was the view from our parking lot! Lucas Oil Stadium was literally right across the alley. I told Brian that we should book a room now for Super Bowl 2012 and sell it later.

After the Zoo we headed back to the hotel so that I could watch the CATS play. It was so neat to watch the game in their "theater room" big screen TV and huge leather chairs--we felt important!  and the kids could go swimming. They LOVED having a pool at the fingertips, hurry up summer!!
At half time, Brian took the kids swimming so that I could finish watching the game. I have trained him well haven't I? He knows that when there is a game on, I don't like to be bothered. I did download an application onto my iPhone so that I could watch the game on there if need be.

All the fun and excitement from earlier in the day caught up with us, we we headed back to the room for a nap. It was such a nice treat, we all fell asleep!!

We were headed to dinner and was in the parking lot....

Back to the Future
We felt really old because both kids didn't know where this car was from or the name of the movie. Looks like we will be watching this on the next rainy day.

Hayley wanted to take a picture of my toes since its finally clip clop season and I just did my toes! (Yes, that is what she calls flip flops and I refuse to correct her...its too cute!)

Happy Clip Clop Season!

Monkey Joe's

We met up with Aunt Sandy and Uncle Tom who were watching the Kelly boys at Monkey Joe's. It was a great idea, wore the kids out and reasonably priced, 9.99 per kid!! This was the fist time that I ever had heard of something like this and really wished we had one at home, we would be regulars! The kids enjoyed
being able to run wild and chase their cousins all over the place. Wished I could of gotten more pictures, but the kids were running wild!!! Boy, they were sweaty and smelly by the end.

Crazy monkey cousins:
Drew, Keiran, Hunter, Hayley, Ben
2 words: Uncle Tom
Need I say more???

Thanks for such a special treat of meeting up with you guys, looking forward to Easter and seeing you again

Catherine sent me these pictures today of the kids playing with her iPad before school. They are some silly and crazy kids that always know how to make people laugh.

Practice....

The kids had their first Easter Cantata practice on Wednesday night during Team Kids. Hard to believe that its already that time of year again, but I am super excited because that means warmer temperatures will so be blessing us. Don't forget to mark your calendars for April 17th, it will be so cute, promise!

Regional Finals

We traveled to Henry County last night to watch the Bears in the Regional Final game. It was such an awesome experience to be part of, just wish the outcome was different for the boys. Final score was Oldham County 70-Spencer County 50.  The kids were so cute to watch, cheering and sporting their Blue shirts. Not so sure that I am ready for spending our "free time" at game though, especially on a school night.
The atmosphere was something else, to see how many people from SC made the drive out was amazing.....a sea of blue! I can honestly say that has been so neat to see the community pull together and support these boys--they deserve it!
We were about 10 rows up--perfect seats
Kylee, Hayley, Mahala and Hunter
Sherwin and me

Bunco Babes:
Cydni, Sherwin and I
Connor was too cute with his District Champ Shirt
Coach Barmore let put in all the subs the last  2minutes or so of the game. I was so excited to see Alex and Darren (kids from our church) play--they did a great job!!

Thanks to the entire community; businesses, parents, students, faculty, staff, and the coaching staff. Most importantly, a huge thank you to the SCHS Varsity Boy's Basketball Team for the inspiration you have given to us. We STILL Believe!!! We look forward to the season next year. GO BEARS!!!

Grandma's Birthday

We had the Fisher side out for Grandma's birthday lunch that was oh so yummy! As always it was a good time filled with lots of laughter and love. We are so blessed that we are able to get everyone together and celebrate the crazy lazy who is responsible for starting this bunch!

While Aunt Amy and I were finishing things up, a serious game of Twister broke out!

Hayley practiced her wedding song for everyone
The boys made a dash to Hunter's room where they stayed for a good while. Uncle Brian is so good to Hunter playing those crazy video games.

Uncle Brian and Hunter stayed this way most of the afternoon
It wouldn't be official unless I had a picture with me and my favorite nephew.  One. ROTTEN. BOY!
I was super proud of Amy, she made these yumm-o cupcakes, and even shared her secret with me (mix 1/2 package of koolaid to white icing--turns the flavor of the koolaid, tart but yummy)!

Happy Birthday Grandma!
