Art Gallery

The kids worked all afternoon outside on my special Mother's Day present..an Art Gallery, just for me! I don't know if I were more excited that they can still entertain themselves for hours (they spent atleast 2 on this), their creativity, or the fact that they both got along?! Anyways, it was really sweet.

Hayley wrote a little opening speech to welcome me

Each piece of artwork had a title and was signed by them. So funny how they think of things--guess they are paying attention in school after all!

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day with the two most adorable kids in the whole entire world and the most amazing husband! My morning started off with begin able to sleep in, thanks to my hubby for getting the kids up and dressed for church! Church was having Muffins with Mom so that was another nice treat, not having to cook breakfast!

Team Kids always sing on holidays and its always a blessing to see all my kiddos up there! I actually got to sit back and not stress and watch this time, what a special treat!!

Hayley brought me home a flower from school on Friday, so we planted it this weekend!

Hunter made me this cool flower outta tissue paper! I have it in my car, it looks really cool~

The kids went shopping this weekend with Pop and Nana and were so excited to give me my gift! I was excited when I saw the Victoria Secret gift bag...either a gift card for new under ware, some lotion or perfume...well I WAS WRONG
a beautiful heart necklace outlined in diamonds! My kids have AWESOME taste--maybe they should be allowed to shop for Momma more often!

After lunch I was given a VIP ticket to an Art Gallery Show

I am truly blessed with the most amazing job ever..being a Mom!
Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing ladies and mother figures in my life!

Horse Stalls

This was the first weekend Brian has had off and it was not raining so we took advantage of it and got lots of little projects finished!! We are starting to get down to the crunch time for finishing up projects before our cruise!!

 First up: Horse Stalls

This is just some extra metal we had left over from the side of the barn, we have ordered more so we can complete this!  Lighting is going to be one spoiled horse!!

Barber Shop

Hunter had his first visit to a Barber Shop on Friday. Yes, he is 9 and has never gotten a haircut from anyone other then Brian, myself or Pop,we have always cut his hair! He was going thru this stage where he wanted to grow his hair, and this meaning longer then the #3 on the clippers, so he was in desperate need of a trim.  The guy that cut his hair asked Hunter what he wanted and he said a trim, kind like yours, and this is what he ended up with:

SO much better, a little short on the sides and back and longer on top! I can't believe how much older this makes him look. My baby is growing up on me. He was so excited to tell everyone this weekend that he had his 1st haircut in the Barber Shop and he looked like a Navy Seal!!

Hunter

LOVE this boy so much.

Lowe's

We are frequent customers at Lowe's with all the many projects that are going on at the Farm. I love how the kids get so excited to help with loading, pushing and unloading our items. They are growing up to fast! Maybe we could buy some blocks to put on their head to stunt their growth?!
