Picnic and Park

The weather on Thursday was AMAZING....sunny, clear blue skies, and 75! It was a perfect day to spend a picnic lunch at the park with perfect friends: The Oedy's!
*I have tried to edit and put these pictures in order, but its not working...grr*

Only Mimi

Would dare the kids to stand up on Toby.

If I thought that the kids would of gotten hurt, I wouldn't of let them do this. Toby is the most gentle horse there is, he doesn't have a care in  the world!

Spring Break Sleepover

We started our Spring Break off with a sleepover!! Our schedule has been crazy busy as has the weather, so  this was the perfect time--during the week with not having to worry about any thing else going on the next day.  Hayley and Belle were a riot to watch and listen to--the conversations of these "girly girls" kills me. I was joking with Jessica (Belle's Momma) that we are going to be in trouble when they get older! As for the boys, we didn't see or hear too much from them, they were pretty much hibernated in Hunter's room with games.
Alan, Hunter, Hayley and Belle

Hayley and Belle were typical girls singing every song they knew on the karakoe machine,
wanting their toes painted,  ( I mean after all it is FLIP FLOP WEATHER!!)

Belle is a HUGE UL fan....made my stomach hurt putting UL on her toes

But I paid her back, gave her a UK blanket when she was cold ;)
Hunter and Alan were hardly seen or heard, they were glued to their DS, ipod and PS games. Boys will be boys! I tried to take pictures of them too but they threw a fit, so this is the only one I got all night long.

I had to laugh because I have teased Belle for as long as I remember that I was going to make her sleep with the cows since she was a UL fan! She was so very excited to feed the cows the next morning, its the little things in life!

Thanks for such a fun night, looking forward to more sleepovers in the Summer!!

Proud Daddy Moment

Brian taught Hayley how to read the "cow reports" and I don't know who is prouder! She thought she was big stuff following him around this week reporting the sales.

Slumber Party

The kids love to have a 'slumber party' in the living room and are always begging to do so. Well, since we are on spring break this week, I didn't really care where they wanted to sleep or that they could stay up later. After picking where they wanted to sleep for the night, we settled in and watched some TV and in no time they both were passed out!!

I love that its the simple things in life that make the best memories, looking forward to camping out again this week, staying up late and sleeping in (hopefully)! Thankful that I am able to spend Spring Break with the kids

Spring Cleaning

The kids and I headed over to Grandma Fisher's to meet Aunt Amy and Aunt Erin so that we could help her get some Spring Cleaning done. It was going to make for an interesting day since the upstairs bedrooms were on the list. There is so much junk, I mean treasures, in each bedroom and Mom is a HORDER!! Talking about someone that needs an intervention. I have never seen so many picture frames in all my life.  She did so very well, we made lots of progress--organized lots, threw out lots, claimed lots (you know better put your name on it now for later in life!), and carried lots out to the garage and priced it for the annual yard sale in May!
Us girls got laughing at all the things that we found packed away in the attic; Dream Team Basketball poster, Dad's sweaters from 1912, old pictures (Glamor Shots), an endless supply of wrapping paper, prizes for showers/teas/Paradise, and the best things...our Barbies and Cabbage Patch Dolls.  I wished that I would of taken more pictures of these but we were on a mission and didn't want to stop! Don't worry, picutres will follow soon, we are going to strike it rich and sell this on Ebay!!

*and a whole album of trading cards too*

While we were cleaning, the kids enjoyed some quality cousin/Grandpa time. They played outside most of the after noon and then were treated to a special treat of HOP the movie with Grandpa--he is one brave man, taking 3 grandkids to the movies by himself!

It wouldn't be a trip in town unless I have a picture with Keegan. He is ROTTEN--look at his face!

Happy Spring Cleaning!
