Pink Princess Party

Clarie turned 4 and that was every occasion to have a PINK PRINCESS PARTY that Hayley was beyond excited about!!  It was so much fun with lots of neat games: dress up like a princess (complete with make up), kiss the frog (with real lipstick), and face painting!! I didn't take many pictures because I was doing what I do best, loving on babies and flapping my jaws!! Hayley told me when we got there "go find your friends and Ill find mine" she is a complete mess.

Daniel decided that this princess stuff was too much for him and took a little snooze on me. I just HATED that, don't worry I made sure he was part of the party by crowning him Prince!

It was the perfect way to spend our Sunday--with friends that we consider family.

Hayley was sitting on the swing the other night and I was simply AMAZED at how quick her teeth are moving and how straight they are becoming!! She has only been in braces for 5 weeks, we haven't even had our first check up. Good work, Dr. E!!

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for the 2012-2013 school year, that is just plan crazy sounding!! I can't believe that I have a 5th and 3rd grader...my babies are growing up too fast. This Momma was an emotional mess last night and this morning, I got most of it out of my system before the kids were up. Hunter gave me strict instructions that I am not allowed to cry or embarrass him today. Evidently he has not met his Momma, I will go out of my way to get a kiss or hug when I am at school. I think that he secretly likes it, everyone else does!!

Quick picture in gym before heading to class. I had to laugh because he was hiding from me and refused to get a picture. Good thing I work there because everyone knows how crazy I am and they threatened him with kisses if he didn't smile. Hayley on the other hand, always wants her pictures taken!!!

I have taken these pictures the first day of school with these two sweet gals ever since the kids have started school! I am going to have to dig them out and do a post.

WE SURVIVED!!!!

 This past week has been bible school and it was hetic, wild and crazy week!!  I had so much fun teaching with Diana and we were so thankful that we only had 8 calm 2 &3 year olds. They are so much fun and I LOVE that most of these cutiest I will get to have again when Team Kids starts back!!

Each class had a chance to share something that they had learned during the week! My kids are like sponges when it comes to this stuff, ask some really tough questions and think way to deep most of the time.

Allergist

We had our back to school appointment with Dr Carol and were blessed with good news!!! I think that Hayley is finally  starting to out grow some of her breathing/asthma issues.

She's pretty proud of her COLOR RUN shirt and HAD to wear it!

SUMMARY OF VISIT

~Hayley gained 10 points on lung functions, we are now at 87% (goal is 90%)

~Scans looked good adn lungs are sounding clear adn stronger then last time (we were at 44% last year and now at 60 % (goal is 75%)

~Weaning her off nebulizer (still can use it if needed) and changed her inhalers around (only on 2 now, was on 4)

~No limitations or restriction (heat/humidity/distance), can resume all normal activites as long as she felt comfortable . She needs to start pushing herself to that point but not go over it!
