4th of July Parade

There is something about living in a small country community when holidays roll around, they know how to do them and everyone comes out to watch or participate!! I have to admit, I'm not really a 4 of July person, fireworks are OK, but they kids really could care less so we usually don't do anything special. Each year we do not miss the Mt Eden 4th of July Parade, its PRICELESS!!!
We met the Oedy's at church for a fun filled afternoon watching the parade and playing church. Our kiddos are something else when they get together, blessed we all get along so well!!

Hayley and Lana
Hunter, Alan and Spencer
Me and my little firecracker
I think the highlight of the parade is when they throw candy, all the kids go wild trying to hoard it all!

Nathan and Diana, he wasn't too sure of it all

You never know what you will see, that is what makes it so awesome and country:

4 wheelers galore,

golf carts,

homemade floats,

horses,
mules,
and my personal favorite this year,
Yes, it was a real live camel!!
ONLY IN MT EDEN!!!
