How Does Your Garden Grow?

The first grade class put on the cutest play ever..."How Does Your Garden Grow?" I have never laughed so hard and been so proud all at the same time.

Hayley was Crabby Cabbage, the Diva of the Garden...so fitting!

Mrs. Goodlett welcomed a precious baby boy, Noah, less then 2 weeks ago and came to see the kids play. She is one dedicated and special teacher

LOVE her face in this picture

Diva

Lord help me!!! Ms. Thang wanted to "work on her tan" for our trip!

Bats

Pop had gotten free tickets to the Bats so the kids, Belle and I met them for a free and fun evening!
The girls were more interested in doing their activity book
our seats were perfect...the sun was hot so we ventured our way to the other side for some shade
I have never sat at the grass section, the kids LOVED it!! Next time we go its a definite going to sit here.

What's going to the Bats if you don't pose for a picture?

Farm hands

We have been hard at work trying to get everything done in the barn and ready for when Lighting comes back home. He had been in Amish Country for 4 weeks, they are finishing breaking him. The kids have been wonderful helping get the stalls ready, rock spread,  fencing done, and fields ready. I just wonder how long this will last once the horse is home.

All ready and waiting for Lighting to come home!

The kids have stall duty daily (we alternate turns) and must be done first thing or else all other privileges are taken away. I have to say, that Lighting has been home for 2 weeks and I have yet had to remind them the stall needs to be cleaned!

Hayley enjoyed a ride on Memorial Day--Lighting is doing great

Art Show

Hayley's work was chosen in the Fall Fest Art Show!!

Just Cause

I love how when Brian and I try to cuddle on the couch we always have someone who joins us!! It's very rare the I have a camera by and can capture these moments but today was my lucky day!!
My cup runneth over

Diesel Truck Pull

The boys enjoyed their annual weekend at Beech Bend Drag Park and I am finally getting pictures uploaded. I had to steal Brian's phone and Hunter's iPod to get these, but better late then never!
