He's healed

The kids were involved in a 4 wheeler accident and we were EXTREMELY lucky!! Short story--kids were on it, going too fast, Hunter flipped it and it landed on top of them. Hunter stuck his arm out trying to keep it off Hayley and broke his growth plate while doing so. Lots of bumps, brusies, and one broken growth plate,  here we are  6 weeks later!

Hunter's surgery was May 25 and the specialist was lucky enough to be able to pull his arm back into position and line up the growth plate and place 2 pins to secure it. It was a tricky break where it was located, so we were please with this!

Today was our 6 week follow up and the day that we have been counting down for--pins outs and hopefully released to start running again! He's been a real trooper and have has a crappy summer--no swimming, lakes, rivers, running, biking--nothing! ( I am starting to think that we have been cursed with broken bones in the summer---last year it was my ankle!)

Yes, I took pictures of the each step!

Hunter was very queasy at this point--he nor Brian do pain, stressful situation or Dr offices--we had to stop and let him lay down with cold towels--he was white as a ghost.

Xrays looked good and showed complete healing--they were trying to show me where the intial break was I couldn't see it!  I just nodded and shook my head like I did everytime they said something--they spoke very broken English but were awesome doctors.

2 Pins are out and we are released! Hunter can resume activity as he feels like it!  Right now hes doing much better, he was scared and stiff at first but he has started moving it like a champ!  We have already been  asked when he can go for a run--told him after dinner

Sweet voices

Hayley got another chance to sing with Megan this past Sunday. Unity had their Homecoming (church's birthday party) and we got to introduce Megan to the UBC family. They were amazed at her voice--she is such a little girl with a little, childish speaking voice, but a HUGE singing voice!

I am SO proud to see my daughter have such a Godly role model. One who dresses appropriately, loves the Lord, shows it and sings! She is the complete opposite of Miley Cirus!!

We are hoping to able to attend her show at Huber's soon---she's starting to become a regular there with her band, Willow Creek!!

I need to post a video of them on here--have to find it first!

Alive? Maybe? Barely? Not Sure!

 Alive. Barely. But alive.

Life has been happening in full force and I am just a passenger while its in motion. Days have seemed to run into each other, always on the go and thankfully I have made it to almost all of the places that I was promised to.  Part of me will be so glad when the kids can drive (Only 3.5 more years) and then the other part of me doesn't want to think about that yet!!

Its been forever since I have blogged and miss it. Guess, its because I still stalk my list of fellow Blogger's and see how they are always blogging and getting their "Mom of the Year" awards. No fear, I have the all the pictures to document our fun but just feel overwhelmed when trying to find time to upload, write and post. I need Jamie Mac to come write my stories--she ALWAYS has me laughing and in stitches (oh, that reminds me of a post) with her stories.

My goal is to upload some of the pictures of what we have been up to lately and then try to do a weekly post when school starts. We will see how that goes--working full time, school for me (one more class until I graduate!!), kids, practices, farming and a 3rd shift....I need a drink just thinking of it all. I did download the Blogger Ap on my phone so hopefully that will help some!

Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride---its guaranteed to a wild and crazy one!
